Thru the Act of Creation-ing came forth a balance of INFINITY; a domino effect of Life and Death, recycling energies from form to form into an endless ocean of possibilities.
The interconnectedness of everything brought forth “ONE TRUE LAW” = KARMA.
Thru the will of the Almighty, this “ONE TRUE LAW” came into a physical human form in the early hours of September 5, 1984.
This wuz the birth of the Reapa.
GRIM REAPA is really an acronym.
G.R.I.M. meaning G-od’s R-eason I-s M-ine.
R.E.A.P.A. meaning R-ealistic E-nergies A-re P-resent A-lwayz.
Muzik being a UNIVERSAL language opened a doorway for Mr. Grim Reapa to bring forth his mission of consciousness & awareness.
Many people in high positions told him that Hip-Hop fans didn’t want to hear Reality and it would never sell, especially in the South.
This would only motivate Grim to push harder.
With 3 CD’s under his belt, he went from open mic to open mic performing song after song.
Within 1 year, he sold over 14,000 copies independently.
His high energy performance attracted many promoters, which led him to perform at a wide variety of places ranging from schools to restaurants & strip clubs to poetry café’s.
The attribute that separates Grim from the average rap artist is his heart. He puts his heart in it 1,000,000% & it reflects within his lyrics as well as within his grind.
